Cidee’s Kitchen started as a personal Instagram page of Cidee, where she shared her love for food with pictures of her countless homemade dishes. With requests from her followers, in 2017 Cidee’s Kitchen was launched on Facebook as a video recipe blog. Further along the year, Cidees Kitchen Pvt Ltd was formed as a registered corporation in Maldives.
Officially formed, Cidee’s Kitchen firstly started catering cakes baked by Cidee to restaurant outlets in Male’ – the capital of Maldives, while also designing and baking custom made cakes for clients. With the growing support from clients and social media, Cidee’s Kitchen opened the team’s first restaurant in 2018 – Blood Orange – a fusion restaurant bringing taste of Asia and Europe combined with Maldivian tastes. Following the positive response for Blood Orange, in 2020 the team opened the second outlet – Magukolhu Hotaa – a local cafe’ bringing authentic homegrown cuisine of Maldives.
Today the company has expanded its services to food manucaption and food distribution.
